3] Ladder Match
for the World Tag Team Championships: Ryan Simmons and "The Darkness"
James Steele vs. "The American Dream" Michael Shane and Johnny Nitro
w/Melina.
"MNM as confident as always there folks and this match is one im
looking forward to so much, it'll be MNM challenging Team Scotland for
the World Tag Team Championships in a ladder match and folks, this one
has been over a year in the making..." goes Ross, fading away as
William Orbits Babers Adagio For Strings fades in, black and white
footage giving us a sense of age as we see Michael Shane in an IVW
ring, exchanging blows with James Steele before cutting a promo against
Indy wrestling
"I am a third generation superstar, trained by Gory Guerrero and
Shawn Michaels, the future of this business and destined for
greatness..."
He says before the picture goes fuzzy, the image of James Steele becoming visible
"I have never had anything handed to me..." he says in his distinct Glasgow tones
We see James getting hit with brass knucks before hitting the Edge of Steele on Shane at WrestleMania
"Ive had to fight for everything... ive been betrayed by
everyone..." he finishes before we see Johnny Nitro Clothesline Ryan
Simmons
"I am a Horseman, the elite of this business..." he says as we see him in a bar with Ric Flair, women crowding around
"I was trained by Tommy Dreamer and thats where the difference starts..."
Dreamer smashes a Singapore Cane into Ravens head in ECW, the images mixing with images of Ryan also swinging the Cane
"Im hardcore for life and i dont give a crap about pretty boys in
suits OR idiots with supposed dar****asts and demons, all i give a
shi*t about is ME" he spits as we see both Team Scotland and MNM square
off, images of MNMs feud with William Regal and James Steele being
seen, Michael Shane and Johnny Nitro hitting a con-chair-toe on Rogue
"A VILE SHOT" spits Ross, the duo smirking as we see them hold
aloft the World Tag Team Championships and then embrace Ric Flair and
Showtime, the new Four Horsemen formed
"You are a hasbeen... a dinosaur... nobody wanted you to
return..." The American Dream tells Silent Assassin but the words
immediately backfire as Assassin grabs Flair, preventing him from
interfering and allowing Team Scotland to win the World Tag Team
Championships, MNM looking equally shocked as they lost their rematch
at When Worlds Collide
"A LADDER MATCH PLAYA" beams Teddy Long as the music ups tempo
showing Nitro hit a drop kick, the Gory Bomb by Shane, a Side Kick from
James Steele and finally the Shining Wizard by Ryan Simmons as the
camera whites out and takes us back to the jakked up ringside, the
camera just showing that the ladders have been set up in the aisle as
we move to the stage
"ON THIS DAY, I SEE CLEARLY, EVERYTHING HAS COME TO LIFE, A BITTER
PLACE AND A BROKEN DREAM, AND WE'LL LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND... ON THIS DAY,
ITS SO REAL TO ME, EVERYTHING HAS COME TO LIFE..."
The crowd cheer, then boo as Metalingus by Alterbridge blares from
the speakers, Michaels Shane, Johnny Nitro and Melina striding onto
stage with confident swaggers. Both MNM members wear white and black
tights, the same pairs they wore the night they won the titles JR
informs us, possibly a bit of superstition in it. Melina looks amazing
as always in tight red top and jeans, leading her men to the ring as
photographers flash their cameras on either side of the aisle
"Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is the LADDER MATCH
for the World Tag Team Championships..." goes The Fink to a big pop
"Introducing first the challengers, from Manhattan New York and
Los Angeles California respectively, at a combined weight of Four
Hundred and Twenty Nine Pounds, representing the Four Horsemen and
accompanied by Melina... Michael Shane, Johnny Nitro.... M... N... M"
Shane and Nitro each climb one side of a huge ladder set up in the
aisle, posing once again as Howard announces them before continuing
their way to the ring
"Well its finally come down to this folks, MNM the brash yo****
team challenging the more experienced Team Scotland and King, this is a
feud thats got out of hand..." goes Ross, King agreeing
"You got that right JR, this started right before Taboo Tuesday
when James Steele was tagging with William Regal and just got worse
when Steele defected to IVW. Call MNM what you like, but theyre loyal
to WWE and that one incident made James Steele and anybody one his side
public enemy number one..." he says
"Well theres no doubt that that upped the ante so to speak King
but i think these two are so arrogant, so conceited that they cannot
stand that there is any team that could be considered their equal. Team
Scotland have defeated MNM not once but twice King" answers Ross,
obviously in the Champions corner here tonight
"Only cause they got help from that coward Silent Assassin JR,
Team Scotland have never beat MNM in a fair one on one match and thats
gunna show here tonight when MNM climb those ladders and take the
belts... haha i cant wait JR, this is gunna be poetry"
"Well i could argue with ya about the near weekly involvement of
Melina King but we havent got all night. Lemme tell ya though, if
theres one thing this match will not be, its poetic. This will be
brutal, it'll be violent and if im any judge, id say only one teams
gunna walk out of here tonight, if even that"
The crowd pop as MNM leap onto the apron, Melina putting up her
leg and sliding under the bottom rope to Jerry Lawlers intense delight
"Oh JR... would ya look at that..." he goes, audibly drooling at
the sight of Melina. The Horsemen trio pose for the crows again before
Melina steps from the ring, Metalingus cutting and the camera heading
back to the stage...
"BRING MEEEEEEEE TO LIFE....." blares out, Evanescence filling the
arena as the crowd pop, James Steele striding onto stage with the belt
over his shoulder. Steele, in black jeans and his trademark "Darkness"
T-Shirt strides forward with a confident but slightly pis*ed off look
as we hear again from Ross
"Team Scotland not even coming out here together folks, their gradual disintegration has been plain for all to see these past few weeks and i gotta believe, in
his environment, against this team of MNM, James Steele and Ryan
Simmons are gunna have to be on the same page. Theres no room for
individuals in a tag team contest" he states, Lawler agreeing
"JR thats the only good thing youve said all night but i gotta
better way of puttin it, Team Scotland can stand united and fall united
or they can get their ass kicked as individuals, either way MNM are
walking outta here as the next World Tag Team Champions" he laughs as
Steele inspects one of the ladders, The Fink making the announcement as
he does
"And their opponent, introducing first from Glasgow Scotland,
weighing in at Two Hundred and Forty Pounds, one half of the World Tag
Team Champions.... JAMES STEEEEEEELE"
James moves on to the ring, no expression passing his lips as he enters the ring, all business
"James Steele one of the most legitimately tough competitors here
in WWE folks, growing up on the hard streets on Glasgow Scotland will
do that to ya, he's said before tonight that what he did at
WrestleMania was nothing compared to what he'd do to Ryan Simmons if he
screwed him, he's one dangerous man and bag Gawd i wouldn't wanna be on
the wrong side of him" goes JR, Steele handing his belt to the Referee
for this contest Jack Doan. Steele shoots Johnny Nitro and acid glance
as the MNM man says something, the mind games already beginning as we
head back to the stage, Evanescence cutting and being replaced by Ryan
Simmons Cult of Personality
"Look into my eyes, what do you see? Cult of Personality. I know
your anger, I know your dreams, I've been everything you want to be,
I'm the Cult of Personality, like Mussolini and Kennedy, I'm the Cult
of Personality, Cult of Personality, Cult of Personality..."
The crowd largely boo as Ryan strolls onto stage dragging his
World Tag Team Championship behind him, which immediately draws the ire
of Jim Ross
"This Ryan Simmons is so disrespectful folks, he's just a jackass
pure and simple, if his opponents were anybody but MNM id say i hoped
he got his dam ass kicked" he spits, Simmons in his wrestling attire
and a brand new "Rated R" T-Shirt
"JR what do you have against Ryan Simmons? just cause he kicked your ass once you dont stop getting on this guys back..."
"Yeah he kicked my ass, that was a mighty fine conquest, JR the
announcer, ya think it'll rank up there with Hogan and Austin King?"
goes Ross sarcastically
"Ryan Simmons is nothing but a bully and a jackass King and in my
opinion James Steele would be better well away from the guy" he adds as
Ryan heads down the aisle, trailing the belt along the ground
"Just look at that King, that is a WWE Championship Belt, some
guys would give anything to posses that and this guy is trailing it
along the ground as if it were garbage" goes Ross again, Ryan Simmons
seemingly got under his skin with his actions
"And his partner, also hailing from Glasgow Scotland, weighing
Three Hundred and Thirty Five Pounds, one half of the World Tag Team
Champions... RYAAAAAN SIMMONS" calls The Fink as Ryan ducks under both
ladders in the aisle and heads for the steps, climbing them and on into
the ring, finally holding the World Tag Team Championship aloft
"Ryan Simmons famously trained by Tommy Dreamer, has claimed to be
hardcore for life and a devout follower of the ECW mentality, in a way
this match is a clash of two wrestling theologies, the hardcore and the
brawler against the catch as catch can traditionalists and i really
dont know who has the advantage here folks, Team Scotland are clearly
no longer on the same page but this is not MNMs style of match, this
may come down to who is willing to put their body on the line the most
in order to take down those World Tag Team Championships" theorizes
Ross as the Referee Jack Doan hooks the belts onto a wire lowered from
the rafters, the titles slowly being hoisted up to what JR claims is
twenty five feet in the air. Both teams line up on each side of the
ring, staring each other down and taking the occasional look at the
belts
"The World Tag Team Championships had so many great matches fought
over them, so many great champions, The Outsiders, Marewolf, Los
Conquistadors, the Outlaws, MoD, so many memories King and i think we
many get another one right here tonight" finishes Ross as the electric
crowd begin a dueling MNM and James Steele chant much to Ryan Simmons
annoyance, the crowd booing as Johnny Nitro waves it off with his hand,
making it clear MNM doesnt care about the crowd support as the bell
sounds and this ladder match is underway here in Miami. Both teams
stand opposite and simply stare at each other for a second, sizing the
other team that they know so well up from across the ring on this
night, trying to get in each others head and work out their game play.
Suddenly its NNM who break that little deadlock with a few choice words
from Shane directed at Steele, James looking annoyed and shoving his
opposite number in the chest, the crowd giving a little "oooh", almost
a challenge from the crowd to the American Dream to give a response...
and he does with a bit*h slap to Steeles face and just like that this
tinder box of a match is ignited, Johnny Nitro springing forward to lay
right hands into Ryan Simmons as Shane tries to capitalize on his first
blow with James Steele. Rights by Nitro, rights by Shane one, two,
three in perfect unison beating The World Tag Team Champions back to
the ropes, both men grab their arm - Double Irish Whip sending James
and Ryan running across the ring to rebound... Double Back Body Drop by
MNM, James rolling to the outside and Nitro following him as The
American dream targets Ryan Simmons in the ring. The camera cuts to the
outside where Johnny has the retreating Steele by the back of the
head... and slams him face first into the barrier, making the short
trip around the mats to the aisle to retrieve the first ladder to a big
pop, the MNM man using it like a battering ram to slam it into his
opponents midsection, taking him back down before sliding it into the
ring to Shane who has Simmons in the corner. Nitro picks up Steele by the head and rolls him back into
the ring but Shane it waiting with the ladder, he charges... and knocks
James right over the top rope into the arms of Johnny Nitro - who takes
a second to regain his footing after nearly dropping him before he
scores with a brutal Gutbuster to his Knee, amazing teamwork from MNM.
Nitro gives a smirk before sliding into the ring and helping his
comrade set up the ladder in the center of the ring but before either
of them can use it Ryan explodes from the corner with a sudden rush of
adrenaline, taking down Johnny with a Clothesline, and the Michael
Shane... a third Clothesline sends Nitro over the top rope to the mats
below next to the rising James Steele. Simmons turns back toward Shane
but the American Dream is already on his feet and he charges at
Simmons, also looking for the Clothesline.... Back Body Drop by Simmons
right over the ropes and landing on top of Johnny Nitro. All three men
in the aisle are beginning to rise as Simmons gives one look at the and
then one at the corner post, a sick grin forming on his face as the
crowd cheer, suspecting what maybe in his mind as he climbs , back
facing the rising trio... and leaps off backward with fantastic grace
coming down right in the middle
"MOONSAULT, A MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE, GOD IT LOOKS LIKE A TRAIN
WRECK AND THIS MATCH IS BARELY UNDERWAY" blares Ross as all four
participants go down in a heap, the crowd roaring their approval of the
high risk offense. Simmons is unsurprisingly the first to recover,
getting to his feet with a slight stagger and heading to get the other
ladder but just as he begins to fold it up Michael Shanes in there with
right hands and a Clothesline. He takes the ladder and lays in down in
the aisle, rolling Simmons into the space between the two metal sides
and violently smashing the top half down onto Ryan before heading for
the barrier, Nitro and Steele rising to their feet in the corner of the
picture. The American Dream leaps off - Leg Drop to the ladder, into
Ryan Simmons, into the other half of the ladder, the Scotsman a vile
sandwich as the crowd whistle at the sadistic nature of the move, Shane
rolling around clutching the backs of his legs, probably as much damage
to himself as Ryan Simmons. Meanwhile near the ring Steele and Nitro
exchange rights, James always going to be the winner with that
legitimate shoot fighter style of his, he grabs Johnny and rolls him
back into the ring, quickly following and scoring with the Inverted
Atomic Drop as he tries to get up, capitalizing in taking Nitro down
with another Clothesline. Steele immediately goes for the ladder,
moving it ever so slightly to get it in the right place and begins to
climb. He barely gets halfway however before Nitro pulls him back down
by his jeans and begins to climb himself. He gets no further as Steele
quickly up and pulls him back down by the tights in the exact same
fashion. Steele scores with some **** looking kicks, giving Ryan time
to unhook himself from the ladder and stagger back to the ring
clutching his neck, winded from Shanes leg drop as he also heads back
to the ring, Simmons now climbing the ladder as Steele continues to
keep Nitro down of the mat. Ryans getting to the top.... but the
American Dream desperately l****es at the ladder as he slides sending
it and Ryan tumbling to the mat. Steele quickly hits the Side Kick to
Shane as he's facing Ryan, the challenge not seeing a thing as he goes
down, James Steele again retrieving the ladder. He lays it upright in
the corner, going back to Shane as he begins to rise. Steele grabs the
arm, Irish Whip - Michael Shane crashes into the ladder in the corner.
The Darkness backs up before charging at Shane still hanging limply on
the ladder, looks for a a splash... and crashes into the ladder himself
as The American Dream leaps aside. Steele staggers backward allowing
Shane to grab him around the waist... and scores with a German Suplex,
James Steele driven head and neck first into the canvas. Both men begin
to rise, the arms still locked and Shane flings his opponent backward
for the second time, scoring with the second German and rising for a
third time.... and hits that all important third, the trifecta
complete. All four men are now down as the camera surveys the scene,
Ross saying we knew this would be brutal. Ryan Simmons is the first to
his feet, slowly followed by Johnny Nitro but the MNM man seems out of
it as the Scot goes to retrieve the ladder from the corner, setting it
back up in the center of the ring and beginning to climb, looking aloft
at the pair of belts dangling from the rafters. Ryan edges near the
top, only has to get up two more r****s to be within reach but Nitro is
at the other side of the ladder, climbing quicker and punching at Ryan
at every opportunity. Both men are at the top and exchanging blows,
Ryan getting the better of Johnny and as he looks to maintain his
balance, Ryan locks in a front face lock, the crowd gasping as he
hoists up Nitro and lets himself fall backward
"A SUPLEX, A SUPLEX OFF THE LADDER" cries JR as the duo hit the
canvas, both crying out as they hit, the crowd giving a hug pop.
Michael Shanes up and immediately heads for the ladder thats still in
place, a golden opportunity in his eyes will all other three men down.
He begins to climb but Simmons is also beginning to rise, only winded
from his suplex and he quickly skirts round to Shanes side and begins
to climb that same side, Shanes back totally exposed to him allowing
the Scot to grab his head and leap off - DDT off the ladder, Shane
sitting up with a dazed look before collapsing, his head driven into
the mat with amazing force. Ryan takes a second to regain his wind
before climbing to his feet, James Steele doing likewise, both of them
exchange a nod, seemingly a signal and proceed to slide from the ring
to Jim Rosses confusion, both lifting the apron on opposite sides of
the ring. The crowd roar as James Steele produces a table and Ryan
Simmons comes up with a chair, sliding it into the ring followed by
another one
"Now wait a minute here, this is not a TLC match folks..." goes
Ross but the crowd couldnt care less, giving a huge cheer as the table
follows the chairs into the ring, King reminding us that they can't be
disqualified for bring other weapons into the contest. Steele and Simmons immediately go for
the chairs, stalking Michael Shane as he begins to rise to his feet...
"Oh we know whats coming here... IS THIS REVENGE FOR ROGUE..." goes JR as Team Scotland swing, Shane on his feet..
"CON-CHAIR-TOE" he cries at the chairs crack together either side
of flesh, the American Dream going back down as Ross comments that
thats good team work by the Champions on this occasion. The duo discard
the the chairs and Steele goes for the table, setting it up below the
ladder as Simmons sticks the boot into the American Dream, allowing him
to get to his feet once the wood is set up, Simmons looks to
Clothesline his opponent onto the table but Shane ducks under it and
comes around and behind, Ryan spinning to be met with a right, and a
second, Shane clotheslines him down and quickly turns to Steele... who
Clotheslines him onto the table, the crowd rising as James heads for
the ladder, looking to put the MNM man through the wood. The Darkness
begins to climb, back to Shane and maybe going to attempt a Moonsault
down on top of him but this only means that he doesnt see it coming as
The American Dream climbs off the table and also begins to climb the
ladder on the same side, right behind Steele.... Low Blow. The crowd
wince as James does all he can to hold onto the ladder and not fall off
but this vile shot just allows Shane to climb higher, now right next to
Steele, his face against his opponents back a single r**** beneath him.
Shane suddenly grabs Steele around the waist the crowd roaring as he
flings him backward...
"OH FOR GODSAKES...." cries Ross as James flys backward toward the wood below
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH
"GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX OFF
THE LADDER THROUGH A TABLE" roars Ross as the crowd give a deafening
pop of their own, "HOLY SH*T, HOLY SH*T" chants filling the arena as
the camera shows the Referee rushing around to both Steele and Shane
laying in the middle of a broken table, pieces of wood all around them.
"I don't believe what i just saw King, that was inhuman..." spits
our play by play man as we see a replay from overhead, the Referee now
checking both men are ok. We dont see the answer as instead we see
Johnny Nitro rising to his feet again, only just recovered from that
suplex off the ladder. Nitro sees Simmons doing likewise and
immediately heads for one of the two discarded chairs, picking it up
and stalking Ryan with it. Ryans on his feet and Nitro swings....
ducked under and Simmons comes around and behind - CRACK, Ryan
Superkicks the chair right back into Johnnys face, the MNM man going
down as if he'd been shot. Simmons retrieves the chair and calmly lays
it across Nitros face before taking a run up.... scores with the
Legdrop onto the chair and into Johnnys face and neck. Simmons looks
round and sees Michael Shane slowly and gingerly getting to his feet,
possibly hurt but Ryan knows better than to fall for what is possibly
Ric Flairs protege playing possum and heads right for the ladder,
folding it up and looking to use it as a battering ram once more but as
he turns back to the American Dream he finds him on his feet and Shane
quickly grabs the other end of the ladder, both men now in a tug of war
over the all important ladder, back and forth, Shane pulls, Simmons
pulls, Shane, Simmons, Shane, Simmons suddenly runs forward catching
the Horseman off guard and Shane is ran into the corner, the ladder
hitting him in the abdomen. Simmons immediately casts it aside to the
canvas and instead decides to use his natural weapons - those two
educated feet. Ryan unleashes a volley of kicks to the thighs, belly
and even as high as the chest of Shane, taking a step back after what
seems like a dozen to allow the American Dream to stagger forward....
and Simmons scores with the Spinning Heel Kick. Simmons goes back to
the ladder but as he tries to unfold it he realizes that one of the
struts keeping the two halves of the ladder the correct distance apart
is broken and he throws it down to the canvas in anger, his time wasted
as he's forced to exit the ring and go for the other ladder still
situated in the aisleway. Simmons picks it up and is heading back to
the ring with it just as Nitro gets to his feet, Simmons is near the
apron... Baseball Slide by Johnny Nitro sending the ladder back into
Simmons torso, the Champion flying backwards into the aisle. Nitro
briefly exits but only to retrieve the ladder, entering and setting it
up once again in the center of the ring. Before he can climb however he
sees James Steele somehow, someway starting to get back to his feet.
Nitro immediately launches into Steele with clubbing right hands, soon
joined by the also recovered Michael Shane, all three men visibly
slower as this match takes its toll. The crowd boo as MNM club Steele
back down to the canvas, not liking the gang mentality. Shane tells
Nitro to do something with the broken ladder which we can see is place
it upright in the bottom corner on the aisle side. The American Dream
meanwhile lays some still looking boots into Steele followed by that
vile Pele Kick as James tries to get to his hands and knees. Once
Nitros dont his task he returns to Steele whos been roughly dragged
back to his feet by his head, Johnny Nitro grabs the arm, goes for the
Irish Whip.... reversed and Nitro is the one sent running.... and
crashing into the ladder into the corner, the MNM man going down once
again and rolling from the ring to the outside as Steele spins toward
Shane but the American Dream is ready for him and scores with a Knife
Edge Chop, and another to send James back into the ropes, the sound
echoing around the arena. Shane grabs the arm, scores with the Whip to
send James across the ring and as he rebounds The American Dream leaps
up onto the top rope and springs off toward the advancing Darkness,
wrapping his legs around the Scots neck and looking for the Springboard
Hurrcanrana.... but Steele has it countered, grabbing Michaels legs as
a look of absolute horror crosses his face because he knows he's just
put himself in the perfect position to deliver the Edge of Steele,
James runs toward the ladder still resting in the corner... and flings
Shane forward into the corner and into the ladder
CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRACK
"OH FOR GODSAKE, GOD ALMIGHTLY EDGE OF STEELE INTO THE LADDER IN
THE CORNER, IVE NEVER SEEN LIKE THAT" wails Ross as the crowd roar
again, Shane hitting the canvas clutching the back of his head and neck
as the double feature shows the sadistic move in slow motion, the
American Dreams head snapping back with a whiplash like effect.
Meanwhile on the outside Ryan Simmons and Johnny Nitro are both getting
back to their feet. Steele see it and quickly heads to the corner
nearest the aisle where the other two are. James mounts the corner and
faces out into the aisle just as Simmons and Nitro get to their feet.
Steele leaps into the air over the mats, an unfamiliar move for this
none arialist as he attempts a Flying Clothesline on Nitro... who ducks
out of the way and Steele flys right into his own partner, Simmons
going down, hit with a human missile. James struggles back to his feet
with a look of shock before he turns toward Johnny Nitro.... who takes
him down with a Clothesline. Nitro slids back into the ring and goes
right to the ladder still set up below the belts. Nitro begins to
climb, unsteady, a novice to the ladder match. He manages to get up
however and is only two r****s from the top as James Steele slides back
in. One r**** from the top as Steele dashes across the ring. Johnny
Nitro is on top of the ladder and reaching for the belts as Steele
careers into the ladder, knocking it away and leaping Johnny Nitro
hanging onto the belts with nothing below him, dangling twenty feet in
the air as the crowd roar. Nitro unwisely begins to panic, flailing his
legs and simply making him spin round and swing from side to side....
and then lose his grip, falling to the canvas with an almighty thud,
landing awkwardly. James Steele however has other things on his mind
than the wellbeing of his opponent and he quickly rights the ladder he
just knocked over under the belts and begins to climb. The crowd roar
again as Ryan Simmons thunders back into the ring, just recovered from
that clothesline off his own partner and MNM nowhere in sight. Simmons
climbs the opposite side of the ladder as the crowd get louder, a Team
Scotland victory in sight. Both men are at the top of the ladder and
then Simmons locks a gaze with Steele who stops dead, Ryan smirking as
he raises his right hand, projecting a single middle finger into James
Steeles face
"What the..." begins Ross but he guts himself off as Simmons grabs
James by the around the neck and leaps off the ladder to the mat below
"A NECKBREAKER, RYAN SIMMONS WITH THE NECKBREAKER TO JAMES STEELE,
WHAT THE HELL?!?" screams Ross as the crowd boo, The King speculating
that Ryan has finally snapped after that clothesline. The camera shows
Michael Shane just quickly getting to his feet and after a seconds look
around he stumbles to the ladder and climbs, up, and up, right to the
top, Johnny Nitro also rising just as Shane steps up.... and unhooks
the belts, falling backward to the canvas clutching them as the
speakers burst to life, the bell just being able to be heard
"ON THIS DAY, I SEE CLEARLY, EVERYTHING HAS COME TO LIFE, A BITTER
PLACE AND A BROKEN DREAM, AND WE'LL LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND... ON THIS DAY,
ITS SO REAL TO ME, EVERYTHING HAS COME TO LIFE..."
Shane is lifted up by Nitro, the duo holding aloft the belts with extatic but weary expressions, sweat pouring off both men
"Ladies and gentlemen the winners of this match and NEWWWWWW World
Tag Team Champions.... M.. N.. M" bellows Finkel as we hear again from
JR
"That was an amazing match, the athleticism of these four men was
off the chart, this was one of the greatest Tag Team matches ive ever
seen and bag Gawd ive seen a lot and its a real shame cause i think the
biggest talking point is gunna be those closing moments and more
pacifically what Ryan Simmons did to his own partner James Steele" he
says
"JR talk about downplaying a victory, before you even mention that
loser James Steele you gotta mention that MNM are now Two time Tag Team
Champions, TWO Times!!" squeals King in reply as MNM pose with the
belts in the ring
"Well im sure most of our viewers know that already King, im not
taking anything away from MNM, this was an amazing match between four
of the most talented yo**** superstars in wrestling today but there is
no doubt whatsoever that Ryan Simmons pettiness cost Team Scotland a
victory here and as far as i can see, theres no going back to that team
now, Team Scotland is surely no more" goes JR#
"Ryans pettiness? James Steele attacked him JR, for the second
time, either its deliberate of he's so clumsy that Ryans better off
without him" spits King, totally on Ryans side. We see EMTs coming down
the aisle as Simmons starts to get to his feet, the victorious Michael
Shane and Johnny Nitro retreating up the ramp laughing and grinning as
they again hold the belts aloft. Shane lets out a Flair like "Woooo" as
the duo disappear backstage and we fade to elsewhere....
