As the video begins, we see images of Ric Flair in his heyday, beating Dusty Rhodes inside a Steel Cage to win the NWA Heavyweight Title, making Sting tap to the Figure Four Leglock, and cutting a promo with the Four Hoursemen, 'Light It Up' by Rev Theory barely audible in the background.
'A legend....scorned' comes the voiceover, as we see Michael Shane on RAW.
'I call on Coops, on Sphere, on Nightmare, on Ric Flair, I call on them to retire' we hear him cry, the music still just about audible.
'A new breed...rising' continues the voiceover, as we see Shane take down Arn Anderson and then Superkick Nathan James. The music stops as we see James fall to the canvas in slow motion, the picture switching to Flair doing the same against HHH at last year's WrestleMania, the music stopping.
'But an icon...fights back' comes the voiceover again, the same piece of the Rev Theory hit audible again as we see Flair smash Shane over the head with a steel chair on RAW.
'A cocky young superstar....put in his place?' is the question, and it's Flair we hear this time.
'YOU'LL NEVER... HEAR IT BUDDY, YOU'LL NEVER... Have the respect of Ric Flair' he cries, red in the face, the music now at full volume as we see Shane hit the 2-1-2 on John Cena before he smirks at the camera in ring attire in front of a HD set up, then Flair locking in the Figure Four on HHH, letting out a WOO in the same HD set.
'Michael Shane....Ric Flair....A Grudge Match for the ages' announces the voiceover man as these images fade, the WrestleMania logo popping up, the video at an end.
