| VWWE |
VWWE,
launched in 2002, swiftly rose to be the most dominant force and
successful E-Fed in the history of the business. Most shows are archived
on the site, here however you will find those shows which have been
discontinued by the company.
|
| FWC |
Fantasy Wrestling Championship is considered by most to be the second
greatest E-Fed of all time following VWWE. Preceding VWWE by several
months, VWWE and FwC fought the famous Monday Night Wars throughout
2002 and 2003
|
| VWCW |
Virtual WCW has undergone many incarnations, both as an independent
company and as a WWE production. Originally owner by Urban-Wolf, VWCW
rivaled VWWE in popularity for several months in 2002. Since then it
has been again a success under Dr.S and less so under Nemesis |
| EHW |
Extreme Hardcore Wrestling was the original answer to ECW and complete
the 2002 "Big Three" with VWWE and FWC. Ran as an Extreme underground
style promotion along the lines of the ECW concept, EHW was a home to
many familiar names including Dr.S, Nightmare, Sphere and Shawn
Michaels.
|
| XFW |
XFW, owned by Forxx, holds the distinction of being possibly the most
successful "indy" Fed of all time. Running on and off from 2003-2006,
XFW produced talent such as Adult Viewing who made it to WWE as well as
being a home to future Hall of Famers such as Nightmare and Showtime. |
| SFW |
SFW was probably the last great new E-Fed to debut after the end of the
2002-2004 boom period. Attracting stars from both the NEA indy
companies and VWWE, the SFW was of high quality. Owned by Hunter AKA
Rock Solid, it's quality won him the notice of VWWE and later the
position of ECW Writer.
|
| UWW |
UWW unfortunately may always be seen as a "sidekick" to FWC during the
Monday Night Wars but it was far more than that, with what many
consider superior writing plus figures such as Doomsday on board, it
was simply bad management that let this company down instead of the
actual quality of their product.
|
| VWWF |
While VWWE was on hiatus in 2004, they produced this little gem -
E-Feds first "retro company". Set during 1998 and the WWF Attitude era,
these three shows are unfortunately not considered canon by VWWE - a
shame because they rawk! |
| WWW |
The granddaddy of the all, WWW was the E-Fed that got the ball rolling.
Created in 2001, the shows are abysmal by todays lofty standards but
WWs offspring in FWC and later VWWE would take the business to new
heights. Rock Solid, Nightmare, Dr.S and a lot more got their first
breaks in the Fed. |
XFL
|
The XFL was a unique concept, combining professional Wrestling and
Soccer, the game attracted many big name clubs and players. Despite
strong reactions, poor software and lack of time killed this great
Fed. |
| DWF |
Like UWW, the quality of DWF was high. unfortunately backstage
politics, the ongoing Monday Night Wars and a few egos destroyed what
could have been a fine company. Owned by Silent Assassin and SmackDowns
own Doomsday, almost every major player in the company in 2003 joined
DWF. |
| TNA |
Our Southern cousins haven't really fared very well in E-Feds with
Nitro creating the first attempt way back in 2002 with the assistance
of Rhyno, which of course spelled the companys doom from day one. Since
then many have attempted to resurrect the company but its most familiar
home is probably in VWWEs old backstage news.
|
IWC
|
Promoting itself as a "small friendly fed" may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but despite successfully attracting some top names, the company was always going to be dragged into the ongoing Monday Night Wars between VWWE and FWC. Who knows what could have been for this successful indy had it not been a victim of circumstance, |
| DHW |
DHW was one of the first new E-Feds to debut after the inception of
VWWE and was lucky to come up with a unique name and gimmick in Desert
Heat Wrestling. Owned by the original Hunter and Nemesis, the company
changed hands several times and really never managed to compete with
the booming VWWE. |
| XIW |
Xtreme Intergender Wresting was another one of the companys that sprang
up during the 2002 golden era. XIW set itself apart from it's
competitors by featuring Intergender action and featuring talent as
diverse as Rogue, Reaper and Angel. |
| XHWW |
XHWW, with DIC, was one of the Two original Indy companys. Smaller than
VWWE, FWC or EHW, the company, owned by Smokey, lost many members to
the big Three and closed shortly after. Kane and Hulk Hogan starred. |
DIC
|
DIC was the second of those original indy Feds and one of the mnost ludricously named promotions in the history of the business and that includes PMT. The usual indy suspects of the day were members, randing from Taker and St.Lunatic to Scouse, a wrestler who was... scouse. |
