WWE are said to be pleased with the progress both Chavo Guerrero and Jay Lethal have been making in FCW. Guerrero, who has vast experience in WCW and Mexico as well as a brief run in WWE with his uncle, the late Eddie Guerrero, in 2004 is currently FCW Champion and is expected to be called up to the main roster as early as this Monday (Wrestling Observer)
Sources suggest key figures within WWE are said to be less than impressed with Forxx's recent work and attitude. Those same sources suggest that Kane, coming back from his recent slight injury, has requested he be removed from his program with Forxx. The feud, originally scheduled to end at WrestleMania inside an inferno match will indeed now most likely be scrapped in favor of a feud between the returning Batista and the Big Red Machine. WWE will look to reinvigorate their tag team division following WrestleMania this year with at least four quality designated tag teams. Expect Morrison, Nebraska and Miz to continue as MNM2 while the Colons will obviously be a team on their debut in ECW. WWE Have also mentioned plans to team Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero Jnr, whether that will come to anything is unknown at this time as some within the company aren't high on Mysterio. (PWInsider)
There has been some talk backstage about removing Mickie James from The Gathering. James is said to not get on with Punk causing friction within the group. Mickie has been largely impressive in her work at house shows and made a positive impression backstage and management is keen to make her one of the center pieces of the women's division. Expect the return of Mr Kennedy to Raw around No Way Out and the possible debut of the Great Khali. WWE are said to be actively perusing the rehiring of MVP who was released last year but as of yet have met with no success. (Wrestling Observer Radio)
WWE are said to be monitoring several relationships backstage, notably those of Michael Shane, Jeff Hardy and Suffering, with several unsavory rumors floating around, WWE are concerned that there may be a scene backstage. No details have been released and all rumors are of course said to be baseless. (PWTorch)
There seems to have been a slight bvow up between Doomsday and Suffering backstage at this weeks ECW tapings, both there to meat with Vince McMahon. DD seeminglky still holds a grudge for Sufferings words some years ago while Suffering, who is a new father, was said to be tense and tired after an emotional week. After a brief spat, the two were split apart by Shawn Michaels and Paul Heyman (WrestleZone)
