WWE is once again producing its ´backstage news´ feature on their website due to popular demand, it is expected to be updated daily as previously (April 19, 2003)
Current plans are understood to be keeping up the suprise returns and debuts of superstars. SmackDOWN! having already debuted Rikishi Phatu and Darksyde this past two weeks are expected to keep that momentum going while RAW is expected to bring Kevin Nash and Scott Hall back from OVW as the worked the RAW house show in Virginia Thursday.(April 19, 2003)
The poster for Backlash has been revealed and features a green and black background with Shawn Michaels in traditional muscle pose. This is probably insignificant as WWE posters frequently have little to do with the actual matchs (April 19, 2003)
Some concern has been raised by staff and fans alike as to the lateness of shows starting, particully on the RAW brand, it is understood that Vince McMahon is hoping to rectify this and is quoted as saying ´At least they arnt as late as Anarchy Rulez´ (April 19, 2003)
It is expected RAWs three big stable will expand in the near future with maybe one or two new member being brought in from SmackDOWN! (April 19, 2003)
Today is RAW superstar and legend Hulk Hogans birthday, from everybody here we wish him a happy 50th (April 19, 2003)
The writing teams Vince Russo has reportadly expressed concern over ´The Kliq´ and in particular Shawn Michaels growing power to Vince McMahon after HBK went over Russos head to Eric Bischoff to have an unnamed controversial DX segment included in this weeks RAW broadcast. This follows rumors that it was SA who had Rob Van Dam traded to SmackDOWN! and that Nightmare had his match at WrestleMania changed to a stright 4 way, but none of this is confirmed. Sources say that management was pleased with the debut of Darksyde, but await his first WWE match to see if he can adjust to WWEs style (April 19, 2003)
Chris Benoit is to take a short hiatus from RAW for personal reasons, expect some sort of angle to explain this shortly (April 19, 2003)
WWE have confirmed that the official Backlash theme will be The Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Cant Stop (April 19, 2003)
Rumors are circulating on the indy scene the Roddy Piper, fresh from his stint in NWA-TNA is wanted by WWE. Piper, who made his name in the old WWF in the 80s would be yet another big name to join the company in recent weeks (April 19, 2003)
