Reports are coming in from WWE sources that The Iron Sheik has been arrested at Melbourne airport. There have been no reports from other sources so there is a large possibility this a work by the RAW writing team (February 16, 2003)
OVWs Paul Row and Nathen Jones have been invited to Stamford to work a few dark matchs. Both have impressed in recent outtings and are said to be top talent in the making (February 16, 2003)
Rumors are flying around as to what the mystery match is on the Global warning card announced today. Names ranging from Coops and DD to Nathen Jones and Rhyno have been flung up (February 16, 2003)
The RAW special edition will use the Roman numeral for 1 making it RAW I. CEO Ric Flair confirmed that RAW I would see one off appearances from several superstars which well bring you more on as we hear it.(February 16, 2003)
RVD was a guest on ´Off the record´ this past week.
He said that hes looking forward to his new role as a road agent and that the reasons for his retiring were as he stated at RAW. He went on to say he left on great terms with the locker except SA who he reguards as arrogant. Hunter is said to have impressed both Vince McMahon and the RAW writing team the past month with his proformance and promos with many seeing him as a megastar in the making (February 17, 2003)
Indications are that at least one new stable will form in the coming weeks on RAW with Suppz and Joe as leaders (February 17, 2003)
In a top level meeting last night it is believed Vince and Shane McMahon, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman and Ric Flair discussed both the Steve Austin situation and future direction of the company with many calling for a return to the shock TV era of attitude. It appears there was another huge row backstage last night involving SA over a WWWF matter. After threats to Vince McMahon SA stormed off. Later in the evening he was seen having a huge row with friend Shawn Michaels. SA is reported to have told Michaels that hes hated him since the day they met to which Michaels responded he was a twofaced liar them. (February 18, 2003)
Vince Russo has signed a deal with WWE after leaving NWA-TNA last week. Russos role is expected to be an off air one with him working alongside Eric Bischoff on the RAW writing team. Russo is famed for his writing during the companys era of attitude that Shane McMahon and Ric Flair have been pushing for a return to (February 18, 2003)
Buy rates for the Royal Rumble were up on Armageddon but are expected to fall for Global warning. No Way Out is expected to fall between the two (February 18, 2003)
