The WWE stars and management have returned to work after a brief holiday over the christmas period and all are in good spirits and health at first appearances (December 26, 2002)

After the cameras had stopped taping SmackDown Nightmare, Kane and Brock came back out and fought for a bit ending with Taker chockslamming his brother and Nightmare giving Brock the endless dream. Both faces posed and Taker posed on the turnbuckle with both tag belts. (December 27, 2002)

Psycho Joe of NWA-TNA was backstage last night causing rumors of a return (December 27, 2002)

Shawn Michaels is apparently unhappy with the direction of D-Generation X and is pushing for more members. (December 27, 2002)

The new SmackDOWN! secetary Holly will have no wrestling role in the WWE and is expected to be on TV frequently but management may change this at any time (December 27, 2002)

Rumor backstage at SmackDOWN! was that Sphere is to become the latest defection from RAW in the new year.(December 27, 2002)

Management are unhappy at the talent wanting to leave the show. The politically charged locker contining Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan has been cited as a reason. (December 27, 2002)

 The intercontinental title match at Armaggeddon is expected to have a big stipulatinm as the SmackDOWN! writing team have been promoting the match more than the as yet unsigned WWE title match which is expected to be Undertaker v Kane which the fans have wanted since Takers arrival. Brock Lesnar v Nightmare is expected as a WWE number one contenders match while Hulk Hogan v RVD world title match is tipped. (December 27, 2002)

There were previous concerns that polyphonic may work a little stiff however he has received a lot of praise from Eddie Guerrero, Kane and Rey Mysterio who he is to work an angle with soon (December 27, 2002)

Vince McMahon is said to be disapointed in RAWs tag team division and may look to bring in a new tag team to the company (December 27, 2002)
