WWE are said to be displeased with Suffering, Michael Shane and Jeff Hardy after the three were involved in a "drunken incident" at a bar in Tampa. The trio were said to be in high spirits and as one witness put it, "completely offensive." the three were ejected from the bar after singing a ruckus edition of the 2001 hit "Teenage Dirtbag" of all things. Backstage sources indicate WWE are incredibly impressed with the work of Ryan Simmons and he'll be given a healthy push into WrestleMania and post-Mania. Don't be surprised to see Ryan in the Intercontinental Championship mix throughout the year as once backstage figure was said to have remarked that he has the potential to be the surprise breakout star of 2009 (Wrestling Observer)
WWE are also said to be impressed with Mickie James of late, in particular her enthusiasm and interest in the business. With WWE looking to expand the women s division and produce a viable divas product, many suggest that Mickie could be one of the faces of that division (Wrestling Observer Live)
There is said to be some heat between Paul Heyman and Kofi Kingston as Paul does not feel Kingston is yet ready for the full call up to Raw roster he has received, Heyman, who is high on producing a high quality product both in the ring and in terms of promos, believes Kofi has little to offer in either department (PWInsider)
It's believed that Jim Ross and Suffering will conduct a sitdown interview this Monday while you can also expect there to be the first MITB qualifying match and that big Intercontinental Championship match. WWE will look to load their shows going into WrestleMania 25 and the company believes we may look at some of the best two months of television WWE will ever produce. With ratings up, WWE looks to be getting back into a very strong position after that slump late in 2008 (Wrestling Observer)
