"The Adamle Original" for the World Tag Team Championships: William Regal, Paul Burchill, Sphere and Mr Showtime vs Ryan Simmons, Ted Dibiase, Brian Kendrick and Paul London
"Sphere certainly confident of retaining his World Tag Team Championship folks but bah Gawd the WWE Originals team are up against it - two teams in opposition... and some may say three" goes Ross as we return to ringside, Lillian Garcia stood in the center of the ring
"JR are you suggesting William Regal and Paul Burchill aren't committed to their team?" asks King in mock outrage
"Well I... I wouldn't say they were Sphere and MST's greatest friends no King"
The bell rings and Lillian interrupts King as he's about to retort
"Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the ADAMLE ORIGINAL.. for the World Tag Team Championships"
The crowd pop for the announcement that the titles are on the line as Lillian continues
"Now in this match, four opposing tag teams will make up two teams, the New Generation and WWE Loyalists. Whoever scores the pin fall will be crowned the World Tag Team Champions and that may come from EITHER team"
The crowd seem a little confused but JR elaborates
"In other words folks, William Regal and Paul Burchill can become World Tag Team Champions by pinning any New Generation member but then you have to ask.. will Sphere and Mr Showtime allow that to happen? what is more important to the WWE Originals - defeating the New Generation or winning the World Tag Team Championships?"
The question is left hanging in the air as we head to the stage, The Brian Kendrick and Paul London's new theme hitting, the crowd booing, no longer any love for the one time crowd favorites
"Paul London and Brian Kendrick certainly not being made welcome here folks and rightly so, these two sold out after a losing streak, they sold out to the New Generation by way of getting a short-cut to glory" goes Ross as the duo swagger onto stage in long New Generation black shorts and white leather jackets, Ezekiel behind them looking as imposing as ever
"That man is a hoss folks, built in the same vain as Sycho Sid and Diesel, he'll offer ya all the protection in the world and there's few men who can go toe to toe with him, a monster"
"You got that right JR, this Zeke may just guarantee The Brian Kendrick and The Paul London the World Tag Team Titles" claims King as the duo walk the aisle, announced by Lillian. London and Kendrick charge the last few paces and slide into the ring, getting to their feet and headed to the ropes to leap up and pose
"Certainly both very talented folks, very conceited as well. But I gotta ask, is this working both ways, will Ted Dibiase and Ryan Simmons allow London and Kendrick to get the pin?" JR asks reasonable, King pausing a second
"I dunno JR, Ryan Simmons is pretty headstrong, he was pissed that MST and Sphere defeated him in the first place.. but I gotta think that the New Generations unity is in tact here tonight, we haven't seen any splits yet" replies King as the music cuts as before se see London and Kendrick backflip down we get the sounds of Rob Zombie
"I FEEL SO GOOD I FEEL SO NUMB YEAH......"
The boos continue and get even louder as the arrogant Ryan Simmons and Ted Dibiase stroll onto stage - the Million Dollar Tag Team
"MUD BATH, ACROBAT, A MIDNIGHT DRIVE, EVERYBODY'S SLIPPIN, EVERYBODY SURVIVE, RADIO TALK SHOW TRY TO PROJECT, EVERYTHING YOU NEED WHEN YOU GOTTA CONNECT...."
The boos only continue as Simmons gives the fans the finger and starts to head to the ring
"Ryan certainly not a fan favorite folks.. and he's no fan of the fans either. He's an ingrate quite frankly"
"Steady on JR.. he may come over here again" warns Lawler, referring to Ryan's attack on JR and King over the past few weeks. Ryan stopping in front of a fan with a Sphere sign and slapping from the fans hands
"Godsakes" spits Ross, Dibiase taunting the fan as security gets between him and the barrier. Ryan and Ted move along and start to climb the steps
"Ryan Simmons a former United States Champion and World Tag Team Champion folks, a hell of a lot of potential there in my estimation if he can lose this infamous bad attitude. Ted a second generation Superstar, certainly another youngster with massive potential" goes Ross as Ryan and Ted enter the ring and pose, both shaking hands with London and Kendrick, a show of unity here maybe
"This the first of two New Generation versus WWE Originals matches here tonight folks, the other that massive inaugural brawl and King, that brings back a lot of memories"
"It certainly does JR.." replies King ":The nWo and Team WWE had that same match at SummerSlam 2002 and we all remember the WWF Invasion... lets hope Stone Cold doesn't join the New Generation like that night!!!" he adds as a joke
"Well there's so many scenarios in that match King but just the same here, this is an intriguing match-up and you have to give some credit to Mike Adamle, he's made a hell of a decision to make this as his first act as Executive Assistant, it may split the New Generation or completely backfire and spite the WWE loyalists of Regal, Burchill, Sphere and MST"
With that JR and King fade out with Rob Zombie as for the third time we head to the stage, William Regal's theme hitting as the crowds jeers turn into a good pop
"A great ovation for William Regal and Paul Burchill folks, the crowd really embracing this English duo after their decision to back Mr McMahon, the right one in my estimation" goes Ross, Regal and Burchill both in their long dark robes, Katie-Lea not with them tonight
"No Katie-Lea JR???" moans King
"Clearly not, though as you may remember King, she's only eyes for one man.. and it's not William Regal" deadpans Ross
"I think she's just kinky JR" states King, seemingly catching Ross off-guard
"I beg your pardon?" he asks
"You know.. she likes it.. different, like to taste the forbidden fruits"
"Well I don't think we need to go down that path quite frankly" Ross says as we see Regal and Burchill reaching the end of the ring, both being announced by Lillian before they head up the steps. Regal, as always, wipes his feet on the apron before entering, followed by his partner
"William Regal and Paul Burchill very experienced folks, Regal of course the one time Commissioner, Goodwill Ambassador and General Manager of Raw, Paul Burchill a powerhouse who made his name in the English FWA promotion"
"I heard he was descended from blackbeard JR" says Lawler suddenly as we see William waving to the fans. Ross seems put off by the statement
"Well I'm not really sure what baring that has on this match King, I'm pretty certain Paul isn't going start attacking people with a cutlass here"
"You dunno JR, I remember a sword fight on Raw once" laughs Lawler, Regal's theme cutting as we see the New Generation have exited to ringside, London and Kendrick jawing with the British duo. The crowd suddenly roar however as Finch bursts over the speakers, Showtime and Sphere bursting onto stage quickly
"What an ovation, a ovation worthy of legend, of icons - of WWE Originals" blares Ross as Sphere and Showtime look around on stage, both men in plain black "Team WWE" T-Shirts, the older fans in the crowd roaring as they recognize them as the same ones Team WWE wore six years ago
"A fantastic nod to the original Team WWE there folks. We've mentioned the parallels a lot over the past week, Team WWE against the nWo at SummerSlam 2002, it was Randy Savage, Kane, Stone Cold, Nitro and Silent Assassin"
Both men lift their World Tag Team Championships from their shoulders, holding them aloft as cameras flash - showing them to ALL three teams in the ring and at ringside it seems.
"For the record, Sphere faced Nitro one on one that night, nearly 15,000 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York" JR remembers, Sphere and MST heading ringward
"JR, you're just showing the eyes of these guys, they were wrestling when Reagan was President, when Barack Obama was an embryo... when Sarah Palin was just an airhead... oh wait..."
JR says nothing as we see our Champions climbing the steps, the Referee backing up Ryan Simmons in the ring, the Scot having re-entered and maybe looking to get a few early shots in. He's forced away however and the two Originals enter and hold aloft the titles, posing as cameras go off again
"Sphere the former Intercontinental Champion, he's been a tag champion before also with Tazz as part of the Black Cauldron stable..."
"What was a black cauldron anyway?" laughs King as Finch cuts and we're left with an electric atmosphere, the crowd pumped for this Adamle Original.
"Well that was something from the depths of Silent Assassin's mind King, you'd have to ask him" claims Ross as we see the New Generation exiting to the apron, leaving us with Ryan Simmons starting this match. The Titles are paraded by Referee Mike Sparks, JR putting them over a little as we see that the Blue Blooded team is arguing with the Champions about who starts, Regal seemingly wanting in first
"William Regal was beat down by Ryan Simmons a few weeks ago folks" we're reminded but eventually the Blackpool native relents and we're left with Sphere starting us off against Ryan Simmons as the bell sounds out and we're underway. Sphere immediately goes right for Simmons, knowing that Ryan always gets out of the blocks early, likes to use that energy. Sphere looks for the legs... no, Simmons has it scouted and hits a right hand, again, Sphere down to his knees - blow to the back, again, Right hand, Sphere staggering up - Right hand, Right hand, Right hand, clubbing blows from the brawling Scotsman. The Conscience staggers into the top corner, Ryan grabs the arm to look for the Irish Whip... scores.. but it's reversed and it's Simmons hitting the bottom set of turnbuckles. He staggers forward, Sphere is waiti9ng - Gut Kick, the Front Facelock is applied... hoisted - Vertical Suplex by Sphere, beautifully done. Here's the quick pinning attempt, the first of the match - One... never, going to need a lot more than that to put Simmons away. The Scot is already rising as Sphere gets up quickly with him... Clothesline, Simmons up again, a quick pace to the opening minute here as the Conscience shoves Ryan back into the aisle side ropes. Has the arm still, scores with the Irish Whip to send his opponent running.... rebounding.... Belly To Belly Overhead Suplex by Sphere, another beautiful Suplex, JR calling him the best in the business for Suplexes. Simmons looks in no mans land as he staggers up on instinct, knocked senseless for a moment, staggering near the WWE Originals corner.... Scoop Slam by Sphere... drops an Elbow, quick hook of the leg - One.. Two.. no, still a lot of fight left in Simmons. Sphere looks up, maybe expecting more from that but he wastes no time, grabs the arm as Ryan stands - Arm Wringer, all the set up to make the tag.... no, Sp[here was too complacent and before he can tag one of his partners in the Arm Wringer is reversed, Simmons locking it in and quickly dragging Sphere to the Originals corner... tag to Ted Dibiase. Dibiase, the 2nd Generation Superstar strikes with an instant Right Hand, again, again, again, Sphere floundering against the camera side ropes as Ted opens up. Another, another, another, grabs the arm as he judges Sphere sufficiently softened up - Irish Whip, sends him running... reversed, Dibiase running and rebounding... Belly-To-Belly Side Suplex by Sphere, big impact and the opportunity for the tag... and it's made, Paul Burchill the nearest and striding in. Dibiase is rising... there a kick, a nasty blow for the face by the Chelsea native. Ted looks dazed for a second before getting to his knees, then his feet... Clotheslined right back down again... and pulled up quickly, Dibiase knowing he has the size and strength advantage here as he looks to impose himself on this match. Right Hand, Ted staggers and reaches desperately for the tag despite being nowhere near.. easily pulled back by Burchill who grabs his trunks and head... and runs him shoulder first into the corner. Ryan Simmons is protesting a little too loudly on the apron, a fact Paul Burchill doesn't seem to like... Right Hand to Simmons on the apron sends him off and down to the mats at ringside. The Referee is protesting but Paul doesn't seem interested, turning back to Ted as he struggles from the corner clutching his arm.... DDT by Burchill, across, hook of the leg - One... Two... Threno, Dibiase kicks out. Burchill stands and grabs the head as Ted tries to get up, slowly walking him back to the Originals corner...
"There's the tag to MST" calls Ross as it is indeed made, Show hitting a Knife Edge Chop...and again, Dibiase reeling against the ropes, starting to be a little isolated here as Showtime grabs the head and walks Dibiase to the corner.... slams it down, face first into the top turnbuckle. Dibiase tries to stagger away.... CRAAAAACK, Show hits him with a massive Knife Edge Chop however, the crowd wincing and letting out the familiar "WOOOOOO" in tribute to Ric Flair. Ted looks in pain as he clutches his chest, Show moving him out of the corner to the ropes on the camera side. Here's the Irish Whip, MST bending for the Back Body Drop as Dibiase runs and rebounds.... and pulls up early to kick MST underneath the chin.... Clothesline. Dibiase quickly staggers and tags in Paul London, wanting no more of this it seems as Paul duly stomps away at Showtime, kick after kick after kick, the highflier knowing the best way to beat Showtime is to keep him grounded it seems. Here's a quick cover however, a Lateral Press - One.. Two.. no, Show kicks out and is rising. Both men on their feet, London a little bit more alert and able to score with a Right Hand, shoves MST into the ropes, Irish Whip, runs and rebounds... switches to the back, waist lock.. German Suplex. Show's on his feet, somehow so is Paul London - Snapmare by Showtime - Dropkick to the back. MST stands again and looks right at Ryan Simmons who's now back on the apron, jawing with him for a second before turning back to his opponent, grabbing the arm - Irish Whip into the bottom corner. Show charges, looking maybe for the Clothesline into the pads.... no, feet up by London, catching MST right under the chin. Paul grabs the head and quickly heads to his own corner to tag in The Brian Kendrick, the camera showing a quick shot of Ezekiel at ringside (reading a book it seems) before Kendrick scores with an open shot to MST's face, the Referee demanding London exits. Right hand, Right hand, Right hand, Brian Kendrick strikes one after the other, again, again, again, skillfully moving Showtime out of the ropes as the Referee protests, Right hand sends him into the center of the ring, again, again, again, Kendrick seems to be looking to make a point as he strikes again and again to send a stunned Mr Showtime into the bottom corner. He takes a few brief seconds to taunt the crowd before grabbing his opponents arm, looking for the Irish Whip... and scoring, sending Show into the opposite corner. Kendrick charges.... and MST dodges aside, nobody home to a huge roar. Kendrick staggers out, Show goes for the Gut Kick... caught, the former World Champion hopping on one leg..... Enzuigiri, the foot snapping up and cracking behind the head of Brian Kendrick - both men are down.
"ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR..." count the Referee and crowd in unison, MST moving first, slowly crawling toward his corner, Kendrick not yet stirring as Show moves inch by inch.... and there's the tag, a big pop as William Regal is tagged, the South Paw immediately Clotheslining down Kendrick who's back up - again, Left Hand, Left Hand into the corner, Regal grabbing the arm - Irish Whip... Kendrick goes running into the bottom corner, Regal follows - Kendrick slingshots over him. William spins - and catches a Gut Kick, spins Brian, scores with his own Gut Kick, Double Underhook of the arms.... Double Underhook Powerbomb, massive impact drives the smaller New Generation star into the canvas. Regal doesn't go for the cover, instead he grabs the head and pulls to groggy Kendrick to his feet, this could be it here as he goes to the whip again... scores, back after him.... but this time Kendrick successfully gets the feet up. Regal staggers, Kendrick grabs the head, maybe thinking about The Kendrick.... but Regal gets a Knee up, again, again, brutal shots into the abdomen... and suddenly he leaps aside, the crowd booing as Ted Dibiase is in and charging... and then they roar as Ted charges head first into Brian Kendrick with Regal dodging aside.... and here's Paul London, the New Generation not liking the odds against Kendrick now it seems.... Back Body Drop by Regal.... here's Brian Kendrick again - Left Hand, Left Hand, into the ropes - Irish Whip sends him running and rebounding - Drop Toe Hold, leg through, arms around the face - Regal Stretch.... no, Ryan Simmons breaks it up quickly to a chorus of boos from this crowd. Regal looks up at Simmons, looking pissed but the Referee is in the way and he can do nothing. Simmons exits and Kendrick is starting to get up as Regal decides to conserve his strength, standing and making the tag back to Sphere who's recovered his adrenaline and bursts in with energy at Brian - Clothesline, Gut Kick... Front Facelock... Vertical Suplex, Kendrick's up again, running only on instinct at this point - Evenflow DDT. Sphere has a wide grin as he stands and looks to the New Generation, making a "W" sign at them, seemingly to represent WWE before he skirts to the corner, crouching and waiting for his opponent to stand, thinking of the finishing Spear it seems. Brian Kendrick is on his feet, back to Sphere, he turns slowly as in one swift movement Ryan Simmons enters, Sphere explodes forward, three points on collision course.... CRACK, Ryan Simmons almost clotheslines Sphere out of his boots - the Scot saving Kendrick and the match. The Referee is in the process of bundling him out as Kendrick realizes what happened, looks over to Ryan and as soon as he's out... tags him right in. The jeers are loud as Ryan scrambles over the downed Sphere
"ONE"
"TWO"
"THRENO, SPHERE KICK'S OUT" blares Ross, some of the crowd thinking that may have done it there and it may still yet do as Ryan pushes Sphere down for a second pinning attempt, hook of the leg - One.. Two.. Thrno, same result, all using up that energy of the Conscience however. Simmons slams the canvas in frustration at the second kickout, grabbing the head and getting to his feet, pulling his opponent with him - Right hand, Right hand, Right hand, clubbing blows all over the body, to the back, the chest, the kidneys, the face, brutal slobberknocker like strikes. Sphere can barely stand under the assault.. and can't, down he goes to the mat, trying to cover up from this vicious assault. Blows rain down, more, more, more, Simmons to his feet under a chorus of jeers and a "SPHERE, SPHERE, SPHERE" chant. Simmons stands and looks into the crowd with contempt and then a little smirk... as he vilely kicks his opponent square in the ribs as if he was kicking a field goal. Sphere collapses on his back staring at the lights, the cover is made again - One... Two... ThreNO, broken up by Paul Burchill. Sphere knows this is his chance and gets up quick, reaching for the tag.... but Simmons has the arm... and tags in Paul London who strikes with a Standing Dropkick as Simmons holds Sphere in place. Stomp... Stomp, grabs the head and pulls Sphere up... throwing him into the top corner.... another Dropkick, Sphere staggers forward - Hurricanrana - cover, Lateral Press - One... Two... Thno, he kicks out again but seems to be fading here, the New Generation successfully turning the tide. London seems to think about the tag but instead grabs Sphere's head and pulls him up... and Sphere's playing possum, Right hand, Right hand, the pop loud and string for the comeback as the Conscience beat London back to the ropes, here's the whip, reversed, London back pedals, both men running at each other - Double Clothesline, both men down but luck is on the New Generation's side as London rolls toward his own corner and the tag is made to Ted Dibiase. Dibiase charges in as Sphere rises... Clothesline him down. There's the Elbow Drop, blow to the back as Sphere tries to get up, to the head, again, again, grabs the head and walks Sphere to the corner - slams the head into the pads. Kick, kick, kick, straight shots straight to the midsection. Dibiase quickly grabs the legs of his opponent and pulls him out of the corner, pulling him away and covering - One.. Two.. Thrno, again Sphere kicks out but as JR suggests, he can't keep this up for much longer, the clock is ticking for Sphere to make the tag. Dibiase grabs the head as Sphere sits forward, walks his opponent to the New Generation corner - yet another tag, in comes Ryan Simmons this time.
"Like it or not, this is excellent tactics from the New Generation who seem to be all on the same page here folks. Quick tags and the isolation of one man - Sphere, tag wrestling's first tactical rule and its only a matter of time right here before Sphere cannot answer that three count" worries our play by play man as Simmons stands over Sphere... allows him to stand... low dropkick to the legs. Here's the cover again - One.. Two... Threhe kicks out but barely, hardly anything left in the tank. Simmons gives the Referee more abuse before standing, the camera giving us a quick shot of Paul Burchill prowling on the apron, the big man desperate to get back in. Simmons grabs the head and hauls Sphere to his feet, charging him into the corner... Right hand, Right Hand, again, again, Sphere sinking down the pads, the Referee giving the five count and forcing Simmons back - another volley of loud and crystal clear profanity spat in the officials face. JR apologizes as Sphere gets to his feet,. shoved into the corner - Irish Whip... Simmons charges, handsprings, looking for the back elbow - feet up by Sphere, smashing them brilliantly into the back of Simmons who staggers, spins and looks to charges again.. elbow up by Sphere this time. The Conscience chargers as Ryan looks to be on spaghetti legs - Clothesline by the Scot, comeback cutoff. The New Generation man rolls over and covers with a rather arrogant lateral press - One.. Two.. Theand AGAIN Sphere kicks out, great show of fortitude here as Simmons looks pissed, grabbing the arm to hold Sphere in place and reaching behind him to tag in Brian Kendrick. Sphere is sat forward... open shot to the kidneys, Kendrick's boot striking home, again, again, again. Simmons exits, the former Shawn Michaels student taunting the WWE Originals by allowing Sphere to crawl toward them before pulling him away and to his feet... elbows him in the back of the neck, a particularly vile move calls Ross as Sphere goes face down into the mat. Kendrick cuts the air, seemingly calling for The Kendrick as Sphere is hauled up, Brian grabbing the head and going to the corner... he goes for it... and Sphere has just enough left to convert it in midair, grab Brian and bring him down with a Powerbomb like maneuver, slamming him on his back, the crowd roaring as both men are down, both facing their respective corners. The Referee starts the count, neither man stirring... one.... two... three.... four.... Sphere is stirring... so is Kendrick.. crawling inch by inch as we hit five... six... both reaching... stretching that little extra distance.... seven... eight... tag to Burchill - tag to Ryan Simmons, both men bursting through the ropes like stampeding bulls, both on a collision course here.... Right hand by Burchill, the crowd on their feet as in come the entire New Generation, knowing that this man is powerful and one pissed off Superstar - Right hand to London, Right hand to Dibiase, to Simmons, Dibiase, Clothesline to London, Right hand to Dibiase, Right Hand to Simmons, Clothesline to Dibiase, London is charging - CRACK, Burchill scores with a boot. He turns toward Dibiase, up on spaghetti legs, grabs him....
"C4, GOD ALMIGHTY, HE CALLS THAT THE C4" roars Ross as the crowd roar in awe of the Standing Moonsault Side Slam. Burchill gives a roar as he stands, spins... right into the double Gut Kick of Brian Kendrick and Ryan Simmons. The Referee is of course protesting which they ignore completely as they shove Burchill back into the ropes - Irish Whip, sends him running, rebounding... ducks under a Double Clothesline attempt, off the other side as they spin - Double Clothesline by Burchill, both New Generation men down. Burchill stands near his own corner and cuts the air, the look on his face suggesting he knows the end is here for his opponent, thinking of the Curb Stomp to Simmons maybe... SLAP, Burchill spins in shock - Mr Showtime having just tagged himself in. Burchill and Regal looks outraged, Regal jawing with MST while Burchill grabs his arm as he tries to head along the apron
"Oh wait a minute here.... we feared this may happen folks, you're both on the same team remember guys, this is about us versus the New Generation...."
Team WWE don't seem to agree with JR however as Show break away and gives some abuse back before heading to the corner and quickly climbing, directly opposite Simmons on the canvas here.... he leaps....
"SHOWSPLASH, THE SHOWSPLASH, THIS IS IT, SHOWTIME AND SPHERE RETAIN"
"ONE...."
"TWO..."
"THREWHAT THE HELL.... WAIT A DAMN MINUTE" spits Ross as Paul Burchill suddenly grabs both of Showtime's arms from behind, moves his head over the canvas and off Simmons
"CURB STOMP, THE CURB STOMP TO SHOWTIME, THAT'S YOUR OWN PARTNER FOR GODSAKES"
"JR I knew this would happen, team WWE is disintegrating!!!!" cries an equally alarmed Jerry Lawler as Sphere bursts in to defend his partner, Regal cutting him off with left hands, the New Generation standing and just watching in amused shock. The New Generation suddenly all enter and it's breaking down into chaos here, all eight men in the ring, the fans loving it, on their feet as Kendrick and London hit a Double Superkick on Sphere, both men almost immediately Clotheslined over the top rope by Burchill. Regal quickly exits to the apron, making sure that the Referee sees him as Showtime is struck with a Right hand by Ryan Simmons, again, again, back toward Regal - blind tag, MST not even noticing it - but the Referee has, Regal re-entering as JR confirms he is now the legal man - Left Hand to Simmons, again, again, Burchill charges, Regal aside - out goes Simmons, Ezekiel trying to revive London and Kendrick. Back in the ring Ted Dibiase hits a Right Hand to Burchill as Regal grabs Mr Showtime and pulls his head down to knee him in the face. King proclaims that he has no clue who's on who's side anymore as JR claims Regal and Burchill have gone into business for themselves.... and Regal tosses MST clean over the top rope, Simmons quickly sliding back in, behind William... Running One Handed Bulldog - Dibiase with the Million Dollar Dream on Burchill. The crowd are jeering, this looking like the New Generation all the way when all of a sudden a huge roar goes up, a figure charging down the aisle
"WAIT A MINUTE...." cries Ross - Nathan James powering down the aisle and Big Booting Ezekiel in the face as he tries to get in his way. Ryan Simmons still hasn't noticed him, too bust getting into the stalking position ready for the Shining Wizard. Ryan's eyes are locked on Regal as he gets to his feet... he doesn't see Nathan's arms under the bottom rope - trips up Simmons, the Scot going face first into the canvas. The crowd are on their feet as Regal pounces, across the back, hands across
"REGAL STRETCH, THE REGAL STRETCH" comes the roar as Ryan lets out a howl of pain, Dibiase dropping Burchill and charging over...... just as Ryan taps
"HE TAPPED OUT, RYAN SIMMONS TAPPED OUT, WE GOT NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS" exclaims JR as Regal's theme bursts over the speakers
"W...what happened JR???" squeals King as we get the replay, Nathan James tripping Simmons and allowing Regal the win
"Well Nathan and Regal have had issues we know but when it came down to it, Nathan James is no friend to the New Generation and he'd rather gift William Regal and Paul Burchill the win... but what to make of those two men's behavior I don't know folks..."
"Come on JR, Sphere and Showtime got what they deserved, they tried to rob Paul Burchill of his win with that blind tag by MST, sometimes I see the New Generation's point about them being only out to keep themselves at the top of the business" claims King as the overjoyed Regal and Burchill are handed the World Tag Team Championships, a quick shot showing an emotionless Nathan James returning back to the aisle
"You gotta be kidding me King, there was no need for this, this was supposed to be a team effort..."
'Tell that to Mr Showtime!" spits King as we see Regal and Burchill parade the belts, the New Generation exiting, Sphere and Showtime both in the ring and just standing. Regal and Burchill put the belts over their shoulders and extend their hands.... not taken, Sphere and MST turn their backs and exit, drawing a mixed reaction, as are Regal and Burchill, the crowd not having picked a side here
"There's a lot of tension here folks, this is BAD news for team WWE, the belts maybe back in the Pro-Vince camp... but they may have just caused more trouble then if we'd lost them quite frankly" finishes Ross as we again focus on the new champion and fade away.
