First off, for those who do not know, Jon who is COO and head writer of SmackDown has been suspended for 14 days, officially for prolonged abuse under the Wellness Policy, however i'm sure those who have witnessed Jons actions recently will understand that this action is for his own sake and good rather than anything else.

Jon has been a loyal and talented member for VWWE for 18 months now but over the past four days has become a combustable element and caused widespread offense to members of VWWE, namely: Myself, Joe, Steve, Mickie, Sam and Graeme. 

While some of you may feel the suspension is too much, i would point out that the offense caused was not a single incident but several over a prolongued period, it could not continue and Jon himself recognized he needed time away from VWWE to rejuvinate himself and rest. We all need that and Jon has been working nonstop on the Fed for a long time now.

We wish him well over these 14 days and i'm sure he'll be back better than ever.

However, Jons brief departure leaves a few issues

I have appointed myself as intrim Head Writer of SmackDown, working underme for these two shows will be both Raw and SmackDown teams in a pair of joint efforts.

SmackDown WILL be up on Friday.

Of course the change in head writer means that i will be bringing my own ideas to the show and have changed the card accordingly, this card will not be released until after Raw as it contains spoilers. All those who are on it however have been contacted.

On the COO front, i have appointed Nath as intrim COO and he will be considered "third in command" over these 14 days

With having to sort these issues, being in a succession of meetings and having to sort and start writing SmackDown, my time was compromised and Raw was not up on Monday, i expect it to be broadcast live tonight (Tuesday) at the usual time.
