From: Battle Creek, Michigan Honors: WWE Champion, World Champion, Intercontinental Champion, World Tag Team Champion Induction date: 08/20/06 RVD stands for everything ECW was about, hardcore action, highflying action, pure ability and talent. After making his name in ECW, Van Dam joined WWE after it folded and brokout of the Hardcore division to be a founding member of Team Xtreme with Shawn Michaels, Matt Hardy and Lita. Van Dam would rise to the WWE Championship as part of the famed Team WWE, battling the nWo in the summer of 2002. More recently Van Dam has made a part-time return to the ring as part of the new ECW brand.
