"Ladies and gentlemen, no introduction i can give will do this man justice so please rise and pay your respects to the Icon, the one and only, the Immortal HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN" goes Todd as we return to the podium, the theater exploding in noise as the crowd erupt, the Superstars rise with applause and Real American blasts from the speakers
"WHEN IT COMES CRASHING DOWN AND IT HURTS INSIDE....." blares the music, the infamous guitars blasting as Hogan bounds onto stage in a tux and red bandana, cupping his hands to ears to each side of the stage
"YOU GOTTA TAKE A STAND IT DONT HELP TO HIDE.... IF YOU HURT MA FRIENDS AND YOU HURT MA PRIDE.... I GOTTA BE A MAN.... I CANT LET IT SLIDE...." continues the theme, Hogan posing with his arm aloft, thinking of ripping away his shirt but then thinking better of it with a grin and he strides to the podium, cupping his ear with both hands this time
"I AM A REAL AMERICAN, FIGHT FOR THE RIGHTS OF EVERY MAN, I AM A REAL AMERICAN.... FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS, FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE....." ends the music, Hogan admiring his ovation as the crowd begin to die down, the Hulkster speaking
"Well ya know something dudes, the Hulkster knows a little something about legends.... from Andre to the Iron Sheik to the guys over in WCW, the Hulkster faced em all... but there wasn't one quite like the man i'm here to induct this evening... Stone Cold Steve Austin"
The crowd cheer, a few fans even getting in a "WHAT" as tribute
"Austin was one of the biggest draws in the business but those numbers brother? mean nothing when you look at Steve in the ring - he entertained the fans in everything he did, was a world champion and took this business from nothing to a place it'd never been before. Lets take a look at the man the Hulkster is proud to truly call brother...." goes Hogan, the camera slowly moving in on the big screen.....
CRAAAAAAAAAAAASH, Glass Shatters hits, Austin seen walking down the ramp in his leather vest, black trunks and boots, talking trash to himself and the fans either side of the Attitude Era aisle
"Stone Cold Steve Austin will be forever remembered as the figurehead of an entire generation of WWE fans - the trash talking, beer swilling redneck from Victoria Texas who respected nobody but himself..."
Austin is seen giving Vince McMahon the double digits before he stunners the petrified Chairman, the images winding back to show his WCW run with Brian Pillman as the Hollywood Blondes
"Stone Cold first found fame in WCW and was mark by many as the future of the business" goes the announce over, Austin, complete with a full head of blonde hair making the famous "movie camera" gesture at a downed Arn Anderson
"You know, i stood in that locker room and i said to Arn Anderson, this guys the future, he has it all.. you could see it even then" goes Ric Flair as the images change to ECW, Austin doing his impression of Hulk Hogan and assaulting The Sandman with a chair
"Steve Austin was the biggest mistake Eric Bischoff ever made, he was one pissed of son of a bitch and that came across both in ECW and later in WWE" claims Paul Heyman as we see Austin invading Brian Pillman's home and dropping first the former Rocky Maivia with a Stunner and then Vince McMahon, exchanging blows with Rhyno and then Kane atop the Hell in a Cell structure
"Austin held those fans in the palm of his hand like only true legends can. Thats the difference between a great wrestler and an icon and Steve is a bonafied icon" goes Shawn Michaels as we see the two staring each other down at WrestleMania X8, Austin pouring beer all over Vince and taking on every member of the nWo, dealing out right hands to everybody
"Safeco field brother, WrestleMania 19... me and Steve Austin dude, that WAS the biggest match of my career and of all time, we electrified that crowd and Steve winning the belt at the end dude? that left a legacy, that symbolizes the pride and passion of both Austin and WrestleMania" claims Hogan as we see highlights from the famous match, Hogan hitting the Legdrop and Austin the stunner, cracking a beer against the World Title, the image staying still, a moment captured in time as we hear from the Rattlesnake himself
"Y'Know, i just went out there and showed to these fans who Steve Austin is, it was a pleasure to perform for them and i believe that they'll remember me for being the toughest son of a bitch to ever step between those ropes. I took crap from nobody and you can bet your ass that at the Hall of Fame, if any bastard is dumb enough to take one last crack at the Texas Rattlesnake, they'll get dropped quicker than you can count Vince McMahons balls. I got one last can of whup ass left to open and that WILL be the bottom line.. cause Stone Cold said so" goes Austin, that typically sadistic smile on his face as he looks into the camera, the images fading back away to the Hall of Fame graphic, Austins image now added, space for four more entrants it seems as we head finally back to the Hall of Fame Ceremony....
"Ladies and gentlemen... STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN" bellows Hogan at the podium, the theater literally erupting as the glass shatters again
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH
Austins old Attitude Era theme hits, the cheers deafening as the Rattlesnake ambles out onto the stage, not bothering to dress up, still in his cut off shorts and "3:16" T-Shirt. Austin strides forward, double digits aloft, bounding past Hogan and heading for the other side of the stage, the digits aloft once more. Cameras flash all around as the "AUSTIN, AUSTIN" chant is heard for the first time in many years, the Rattlesnake padding over to Hogan and looking him in the eye with that smile of his, the contrast never more clear between the redneck attire of Austin and the Tux of the Hulkster. Hogan hands Austin the Hall of Fame plaque and steps away as the music cuts and Stone Cold takes the podium, waiting for quiet before speaking
"Anyone that knows Stone Cold Steve Austin knows that he's a man of few words so i'm not gunna come out here and start running ma mouth about who i can thank for this award, what i am gunna do is show each and every one of you sum bitches why the hell i'm going into the Hall of Fame tonight and its for one single reason - being THEE biggest son of a bitch....."
The crowd erupt
"IN WWE HISTORY" finishes Austin with a typical sadistic smile. Austin becomes a little more serious as he turns and looks at Hulk Hogan off to one side. The Hulkster strokes his mustache and beard as Austin grins, something in his mind as he speaks
"Y'Know this is WrestleMania weekend, all those damn videos are showing the history of the show and one thing that stands out is SAFECO Field, WrestleMania 19.... Stone Cold Steve Austin opening up the biggest can of whup ass that a certain red and yellow piece of garbage had ever seen"
Hogan is instantly alert, drawing himself up to his full height and muttering something under his breath as he looks to the crowd, judging the support as the crowd roar for what sounds like a confrontation, Austin staring at him for a brief second before reaching under the podium, the fans erupting with an "AUSTIN, AUSTIN" chant as he produces a cooler, Hogan himself grinning as the Rattlesnake opens the box and produces a pair of Steveweisers. Austin tosses one to Hogan
"This may very well be the last time Ol' Stone Cold is out here so i'm gunna take this opportunity to end things the right way....." begins Austin, only to be interrupted by a very familiar voice
"Now you just wait a damn minute" snaps the distinct tones of Vince McMahon, the crowd (including the Superstars) jeering big time as McMahon stands from his seat and approaches the stage, mic in hand and now visibly backed up by Randy Orton
"If you think for one damn minute Austin that i'm letting you walk off into the sunset like some kind of hero you're mistaken. This is MY Ceremony, mine - Vincent Kennedy McMahon. You people are getting these damn awards because I let you and don't you forget it....."
All the while Austins eyes are boring into McMahon, an expression somewhere between amusement and fury on his face as McMahon continues
"Austin, for eight years I've put up with your crap, the beer baths, the crushed cars, the fingers.... i sure as hell aren't letting you get the last say around here so I'll tell you exactly what you're gunna do, you and Hogan, you're gunna walk off this stage, you're gunna get out the way of Randy Orton and myself as for once in your lives you give the spotlight over to the two most powerful men in the business right here and now"
Austin and Hogan look like they'll refuse but then shrug and begin to move away to the edge of the stage, the crowd booing the decision as a smug McMahon and Orton move toward the podium, Orton in dark suit with the WWE Championship over his shoulder. McMahon looks pleased as he watches the two Icons leave.... but then all of a sudden the two stop dead, the fans erupting as they know whats coming, not even a word needing to be said as Hogan and Austin exchange a glance and turn back toward Orton and McMahon. Their faces are a classic picture of arrogance turned to terror, Orton trying to get away, McMahon staying stuck to his feet in horror as Hogan scores with a right to Orton
"HOO" go the crowd, Hogan goes for it again - hits home, Orton swaying
"HOO" go the crowd, Hogan rearing back for the third
"HOO" he hits the third right, grabs Orton by the head as we see the amused Stone Cold slowly sneaks around behind McMahon.... Hogan points aloft...... and sends Orton flying the short way off the stage into the front row, the crowd roaring. McMahon sees the writing on the wall and backs away.... right into Austin. Vince swallows hard but doesnt turn, putting a hand behind him to feel, dreading the answer as it comes, the fans electric, just waiting for what must surely come. McMahon spins, Austin with the Gut Kick, grabs the head, spins......
STUNNER, every fan is up and cheering with the Superstars, Vince flying back across the stage into the podium, knocking it over and sprawling at Hogans feet as Austin stands and the glass shatters again
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH, this time its the Disturbed version that kicks in, Austin scooping up his beer and tossing one to Hogan as the two men stand victorious. Hogan and Austin have one last staredown before cracking open the beer and smashing them together, sending the beer everywhere. Both men grin as they pour whats left of the beer over the fallen WWE Chairman, covering his unconscious face and shirt. Austin retrieves more beer as the Hall of Fame begins to fade away, lingering for just a second as the two Icons share a handshake, a show of respect and then carry on the beer bash, the 2007 Hall of Fame ceremony at an end.
