As we return the scene opens up to the sight of a run down, patched up, punching bag swinging in the middle of what looks like an old gym. A man in a grey, hooded tracksuit top and long tracksuit pants stands, arms raised, punching the bag, allowing it to swing freely till he hits it again. A few more punches and a couple of kicks are thrown in till the man stops. He lowers his arms and relaxes before walking over to a bench and grabbing a bottle and towel. He wipes down his face, still under shadow and takes a quick drink. As he raises his head, the hood falls down revealing James Steele. Steele wraps the towel around his neck and takes a seat on the bench, hunching over so he's leaning on his knees. Steele shifts in his seat and takes another sip from his water bottle before starting to speak.
“WrestleMania. That's why I came to the VWWE. I saw the opportunity to shine and not assume I was the best man in the federation on my debut. I saw fights that stayed traditional and I saw rumbles that took themselves down NYC. I saw men like HBK at the top of his game and vying for the World Title. But he was doing so after years of hard work with his wins and his losses. I saw men working hard in the undercard for titles like the International title, which I now have the honor to defend. All of that, all of the hard work and dedication that went into VWWE is what drew me towards it. WrestleMania 23 will be the pinnacle of my career thus far in VWWE. I have the chance to not only retain the International Title but also the chance to go out there and make the greatest impact ever seen. I have the chance to go out there and prove that I am no man's jobber. I have the chance to go out there and prove to everyone that I have the potential to be the greatest wrestler alive.”
Steele stops for a moment as he calms down and goes back to his usual bad self.
“There’s only one problem. There’s another man wishing for the same thing. Primal. He thinks I'm running scared. He thinks I fear him. He thinks it’s only a matter of time till he takes the International Title… MY title! Primal, you may have power. You may be strong but the thing is I have more talent in my little finger than you have in your entire body! You think I have to cheat to win and have to resort to cheap shots to get what I want. But the thing is Primal, all these cheap shots have had a purpose but you're too stupid to realize that all I've been doing is keeping your Danish ass in it’s place. Our match may not headline the show but the destruction of Primal is what they will all be talking about for weeks to come. They will all be talking about it because it will go beyond any match you have ever wrestled in so far. This match will define your career because when I beat you… it will put you on the map. You will become a place on the map that James Steele travelled, a person James Steele beat on his ascension to being a VWWE Legend.
Steele smiles to himself as the camera fades.
